About The Position

EPIC Health is seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join its multi-specialty practice in Clio, Michigan. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care across stages of life in a fast-paced clinical environment. The provider will assess and treat patients, collaborate with physicians, conduct diagnostic testing, provide counseling and preventative care, perform clinical procedures, and coordinate the work of technicians and assistants. The work is on-site. During training, the schedule is Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts. After training, there is an option to transition to a four-day, 10-hour schedule. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled. A background check is required.

Requirements

MI Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner licensure.
Master’s degree in a related field.
Commitment to patient care, continued learning, and compassionate care.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt while prioritizing patient outcomes.

Nice To Haves

2–5 years of experience in primary care and pediatrics (preferred).

Responsibilities

Examine patients, gather health histories, and assess physical conditions to inform diagnoses and treatment decisions.
Prescribe therapy or medications with physician approval and coordinate care with physicians to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Administer and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, EKGs, and lab work.
Counsel patients on health regimens, growth and development, family planning, and preventative care.
Perform injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations.
Supervise and coordinate technicians and assistants.
