About The Position

EPIC Health is hiring a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join its multi-specialty practice in Southfield, Michigan. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care across stages of life in a fast-paced environment. The provider examines patients, evaluates their health, develops diagnoses and treatment decisions, and coordinates comprehensive treatment with physicians and other care team members. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts during training. After training, there is an option to transition to a four-day, 10-hour schedule. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled. A background check is required.

Requirements

Current Michigan Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner licensure is required.
A master’s degree in a related field.
A deep understanding of patient care, willingness to continue learning, and commitment to compassionate care.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to adapt while prioritizing patient outcomes.

Nice To Haves

Two to five years of experience in primary care and pediatrics is preferred.

Responsibilities

Examine patients, gather health histories, and evaluate physical conditions to inform diagnoses and treatment decisions.
Prescribe therapy or medications with physician approval and coordinate care with physicians.
Administer and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, EKGs, and laboratory work.
Counsel patients on health regimens, growth and development, family planning, and preventative care.
Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations.
Supervise and coordinate technicians and assistants.
