The Executive Assistant serves as a trusted partner and extension of the CEO. This is more than a traditional administrative support role. The Executive Assistant helps protect the CEO's time and focus by serving as a thoughtful gatekeeper, managing access and competing priorities, anticipating needs, and ensuring important matters move forward. The role requires strong judgment, discretion, and the confidence to interact effectively with employees, executives, Board members, members, business partners, and other external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO. The Executive Assistant also plays a key role in coordinating matters involving the Board of Directors, including scheduling and logistics, preparation and distribution of meeting materials, meeting minutes, follow-up items, and communications between the CEO, Board members, and leadership. In addition, the role manages complex calendars and executive schedules, correspondence and communications, and selected projects and strategic initiatives. Success requires exceptional organization and attention to detail, but equally important is the ability to understand priorities, exercise sound judgment, take ownership, and help the CEO and leadership team operate at their highest level in service to our employees, members, and communities.
