About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Three years of experience in software engineering or related experience.
• Experience with the React Native framework, including components, APIs, and lifecycle methods.
• Experience with JavaScript, including ES6+ features, asynchronous programming, and functional programming concepts.
• Experience with iOS and Android platforms, including development environments, SDKs, and capabilities.
• Experience managing application state with libraries such as Redux.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs for data fetching and manipulation.
• Experience debugging React Native applications using React Native Debugger and conducting unit tests using Jest.
• Experience optimizing React Native application performance, including render times, memory usage, and network requests.
• Experience using Git for collaborative development and code management.
• Knowledge of .js fundamentals, including asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and the Node.js runtime environment.
• Experience implementing error handling and resilience to handle failures and support high availability.
• Knowledge of Node.js security best practices, including input validation, authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
• Experience with monitoring tools and logging frameworks to track performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot errors.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines to automate Node.js application build, test, and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform solution design involving software architecture, distributed systems, scalability, design patterns, disaster recovery, technology stacks, MVPs, non-functional requirements, and telemetry.
• Help design solutions so processes and applications work together for specific product components or modules.
• Evaluate design trade-offs based on business requirements.
• Convert high-level designs into detailed designs using mock screens, pseudocode, and detailed functional logic.
• Conduct requirements and scoping analysis, including traceability, risk and cost analysis, business objectives, requirement classification, and user stories.
• Assess gaps or required updates between customer or business expectations and existing products or solutions.
• Anticipate risks and issues during requirements gathering, inform stakeholders, and recommend corrective steps.
• Contribute to user stories for components, applications, or complex work in Agile methodology.
• Review coding standards, languages, frameworks, tools, platforms, and quality, safety, and security standards.
• Create or configure code to meet business and technical requirements, including non-functional, availability, and scalability needs.
• Assist in selecting programming languages, development standards, and tools.
• Build scripts to automate repetitive tasks in CI/CD, testing, or other processes.
• Implement telemetry features and apply security policy requirements during code development or configuration.
• Prepare test cases and objectives, define test strategies and environments, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Map customer requirements to test objectives and create test cases for components or modules.
• Execute test cases and appropriate types of testing to detect errors and defects.
• Track and analyze defects, perform regression testing, and analyze past defects to help prevent recurrence.
• Troubleshoot application performance and availability bottlenecks.
• Ensure projects adhere to approved milestones and timelines.
