About The Position
Bopat Electric, part of the BCES Global Group, provides electrical services for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and institutional environments, with a focus on maintaining and optimizing critical electrical distribution systems. The Electrical Construction Project Manager leads complex electrical construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring delivery meets safety standards, client specifications, scope, schedule, and budget expectations. The role involves project planning and execution, schedule and risk management, site inspections, coordination with clients and project partners, procurement oversight, and maintaining accurate project documentation. The manager promotes safety awareness, quality workmanship, collaboration, and timely project delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical construction project management, including extensive site experience.
- Strong knowledge of system design principles, schematics reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation.
- Expertise in NEC standards and electrical codes applicable to large-scale projects.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Primavera P6.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and contracts management.
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, construction management, and project coordination.
- Hands-on construction site supervision experience, including safety protocols and quality assurance.
- Excellent time management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to make active construction site visits, wear PPE, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Ability to perform extended periods of computer work for plan review, documentation, and scheduling.

Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans proactively.
- Identify potential project issues and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality, safety compliance, and adherence to construction management best practices.
- Promote a collaborative environment focused on safety awareness, quality workmanship, and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate project workflows.
- Review blueprints, schematics, system design documents, and contracts for compliance with NEC standards and project specifications.
- Oversee procurement, including construction estimating and management of subcontractor bids.
- Use project documentation tools for RFIs, change orders, and reporting.
- Maintain accurate schedules, reports, and records of construction activities.
