About The Position

Bopat Electric is seeking a dynamic, highly skilled Electrical Construction Project Manager to lead complex electrical construction projects from inception through completion. The position oversees project schedules and delivery of electrical systems that meet safety standards, client specifications, and budget expectations. The role leads planning, execution, and closeout; manages project schedules, risks, and site quality; and coordinates with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams. It also involves reviewing technical and contract documents for compliance with NEC standards and project specifications, managing estimating and subcontractor bids, and maintaining project documentation using tools such as ProCore and Bluebeam. The position includes visits to active construction sites, requiring PPE and the ability to navigate uneven terrain, as well as extended computer work for plan review, documentation, and scheduling. Compensation is $85,000–$100,000 USD and may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and the final role offered.

Requirements

Proven experience in electrical construction project management, including extensive site experience.
Strong knowledge of system design principles, schematic reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation.
Expertise in NEC standards and electrical codes applicable to large-scale projects.
Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, construction management, and project coordination.
Hands-on construction site supervision experience, including safety protocols and quality assurance.
Familiarity with construction estimating processes and contract management.
Excellent time management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with project management tools such as Primavera P6.
Experience with ProCore and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and closing of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
Develop detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and proactively adjust plans.
Identify potential project risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality, safety compliance, and adherence to construction management best practices.
Promote safety awareness, quality workmanship, collaboration, and timely delivery.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate project workflows.
Review blueprints, schematics, system design documents, and contracts for compliance with NEC standards and project specifications.
Oversee procurement, including construction estimating and management of subcontractor bids using HeavyBid or comparable software.
Use ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation, RFIs, change orders, and reporting.
Maintain accurate schedules, reports, and records of construction activities.
