The Electrical Task Project Manager provides field leadership and oversight for electrical construction, maintenance, modification, and outage activities at an operating nuclear generating station. The role supports pre-outage planning and outage execution, including oversight of electrical craft and contractors performing cable routing, pulling, terminations, continuity testing, troubleshooting, Roxtec cable transit installation, and electrical penetration work. The position involves conducting job walkdowns, pre-job briefings, work package reviews, and field observations to confirm safe and compliant execution, quality, procedure adherence, and schedule performance. The task manager communicates work status, emergent issues, schedule impacts, and field observations to Site Project Leads, station management, and other stakeholders. Nuclear safety culture, human performance tools, corrective action programs, work management processes, and radiological protection requirements are integral to the work. This is a primarily field-based role at an operating nuclear generating station and active industrial/construction site, with work in plant, outage, construction, and containment areas. The role may require 12-hour day or night shifts, extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical duties include traversing work areas, climbing, working in restricted areas, wearing required PPE and radiological protective clothing, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds. Site Projects provides gloves, hard hats, and safety glasses; the worker must provide prescription safety glasses if needed.
