The Operations Manager reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager or Area Operations Manager and will oversee Lot Coordinators, operations, sales, and financials for respective areas. The Operations Manager will ensure all standards for professionalism, appearance, vehicle, work ethic, customer service, and workplace safety and cleanliness are always upheld. They will develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers. The role involves attending regional operations team weekly meetings, monthly meetings with management to review goals, and visiting all stores on a daily/weekly basis. The Operations Manager will also attend EchoPark conference calls weekly (when applicable) and hold in-person meetings with associates to discuss issues, daily goals, and constraints. They will audit nightly WIP emails/reports for opportunities of improvement, support needed, and/or overall location health, replying to every store’s nightly WIP emails/reports at least once a week and sending weekly recap emails to store management. The role ensures daily billing at all locations in the region, works with management on budgeting, staffing, and planning, and reviews monthly P&Ls for financial improvement. The Operations Manager ensures locations, visits, and calls are entered and notated in NetSuite, reviews and processes requisition/SCF forms, and reviews/corrects daily missing punch & punch changes. They submit bi-weekly Amex reports, monthly schedules to Human Resources by the 25th, and all payroll for the area within assigned deadlines. Supply orders for all stores in the area are reviewed and/or submitted, along with monthly Risk Compliance reports for the area. The position assists in Accounts Payables/Receivables for the area and stays updated on new products from suppliers to inform technicians. The Operations Manager ensures effective and efficient operations, is proficient in all Lot Coordinator duties, and ensures the proper rollout of new products, policies, practices, and procedures. Daily communication with management and Lot Coordinators is expected, along with providing important data and updates in a timely manner. Other duties assigned by management are also part of the role.
