About The Position

The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the Human Resources department and serves as a primary point of contact for employees, applicants, and visitors. This position supports benefits, onboarding, HR systems, employee records, compliance, engagement activities, and the Director of Human Resources. Our HR office is a busy, fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions, a steady flow of employees and applicants, and priorities that can shift quickly throughout the day. The successful candidate must be particularly strong at managing multiple responsibilities, adjusting to changing priorities, and staying organized and accurate while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of HR administrative or related experience.
  • Associate degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Sound judgment and ability to appropriately escalate sensitive or complex HR matters.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Paycom preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary HR point of contact, providing responsive and professional assistance to employees, applicants, and visitors.
  • Respond to routine questions regarding benefits, HR policies, procedures, and systems; escalate complex or sensitive matters as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and required documentation in Paycom and other HR systems.
  • Support benefits administration, including employee assistance, enrollment changes, open enrollment, vendor coordination, and record maintenance.
  • Coordinate onboarding with the Talent Acquisition Specialist, including employment documentation, I-9/E-Verify, pre-employment requirements, orientation preparation, and Paycom setup.
  • Track required HR and compliance documentation, including licenses, certifications, evaluations, and training requirements.
  • Assist with employee engagement, recognition programs, HR communications, and department initiatives.
  • Support Paycom administration and assist employees with self-service tools.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Human Resources, including scheduling, meeting coordination, document and presentation preparation, correspondence, recordkeeping, and follow-up.
  • Assist with HR projects, reporting, audits, and process improvements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling employee information and concerns.
  • Provide operational support to the HR team and perform other duties as assigned.
