About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of property management experience.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the Metro Detroit area.
• Ability to visit each assigned location at least once per week.
• Strong written, verbal and communication skills.
• Professional experience working directly with tenants, vendors, contractors, insurance companies, lenders, contractors and service providers.
• Ability to assess property conditions and identify repair, maintenance, and safety concerns.
• Strong organizational, follow-up, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent reporting schedule.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with iPad-based reporting tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing multiple commercial, retail, or multi-site properties preferred.
• experience with iAuditor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 10+ commercial locations throughout Metro Detroit.
• Prepare and maintain budgets for all assigned properties.
• Conduct weekly site visits at each assigned location.
• Complete detailed monthly property condition reports using the iAuditor program on an iPad.
• Document the overall condition of each location, including maintenance needs, repair concerns, tenant, lender and insurance company feedback, vendor issues, and overall property appearance.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Communicate property-related concerns, repair needs, and follow-up items to the appropriate internal teams.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to support timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
• Track and follow up on outstanding property issues to ensure completion.
• Maintain professional and responsive communication with all tenants, vendors, and company representatives.
• Ensure assigned locations are consistently monitored, well maintained, and aligned with company expectations.
