About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality, customer service-oriented basic care to patients, with attention to the comfort and well-being of patients and their families. The role supports care delivery for patients from diverse ethnic and social groups, advocates for ethical and holistic care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and health, and helps create a safe, supportive environment. The position is based at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital, a regional medical center in Tacoma, Washington. The schedule is 0.9 FTE, working 12-hour night shifts with alternating weekends.
Requirements
- Current Washington State CNA license.
- Current BLS Certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in a physician's office or other medical facility preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage basic care activities and deliver care with a customer service orientation.
- Support the delivery of care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups.
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care that promotes the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
- Create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients.
