About The Position

Cantex is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on patient care in a skilled nursing setting at Sundance Inn Health Center in New Braunfels, Texas. The CNA assists patients with activities of daily living and supports their safety, comfort, dignity, and independence. Requirements

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.
Strong teamwork, reliability, and a patient-first mindset.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using safe lifting techniques.
Monitor and observe patients and report changes in condition to the Charge Nurse.
Accurately document patient care and daily activities in accordance with regulations.
Support and follow individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes.
Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment.
Ensure medical equipment and devices are clean, charged, and functioning properly.
Participate in shift handoffs, team communication, and ongoing training.
Follow state, federal, and facility policies and procedures.
Promote patient dignity, independence, and safety at all times.
