Other duties include documenting care, observing and reporting changes in patient condition, handling specimens, supporting patient safety and throughput, coordinating tests and transportation, and performing unit clerical and supply tasks. The schedule is three 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., including every other weekend and holiday. A consecutive two-week classroom orientation is required at the start of employment, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The posting states that no experience is needed and comprehensive on-the-job training is provided, while the listed experience qualification separately specifies a minimum of one year of related work experience. A Basic Life Support certification is required within six months. The role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, a minimum hiring rate of $18.94 with increased rates for experienced individuals, up to $3 shift differentials, and up to $40,000 in financial support to become a nurse.
