About The Position
Crowley County Nursing Center is offering a free, paid, state-approved Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) training program at its facility in Ordway, Colorado. The course prepares participants to pass the Colorado written and clinical skills competency exams and provides hands-on patient-care training from experienced nursing staff in a long-term care setting. Full scholarships are available, and trainees can earn up to $1,200 while completing the program. Graduates may have the opportunity to join the facility as a full-time Nurse Aide and develop their healthcare careers in Crowley County. The program runs Monday through Friday. Classroom and skills training is scheduled for November 30 through December 11, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Clinicals take place December 14 through December 16, from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with graduation on December 16. Registration closes November 16, and seats are limited.
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Able to attend every class and clinical session through graduation.
- Compassion and a genuine desire to care for others.
- Reliability and commitment to finishing the full program.
- Must be able to reliably commute to Ordway, CO 81063.
Responsibilities
