About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Virginia or ability to obtain reciprocity within 3 months of the start date.
• Eligible to work in the United States and obtain a security clearance.
• 10+ years of Civil Engineering experience, including land development and site design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local government regulations related to civil design.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MicroStation and InRoads software.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of regional stormwater regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of complex land development and infrastructure projects for federal government clients.
• Manage projects including site development, stormwater management, environmental permitting, utility infrastructure, and pump station design.
• Provide team leadership and collaborate across disciplines.
• Serve as the primary client contact and ensure client satisfaction.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers.
