About The Position

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree, or five years of experience in Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS), including Developmental Disabilities, or an appropriate combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least two years of experience with mentorship, team leadership, and/or direct supervision.
• Working knowledge of the Medicaid Long Term Care system.
• Experience managing sensitive information with discretion.
• Valid Colorado motor vehicle license and proof of motor vehicle insurance.
• Meet driving requirements: no suspensions and no more than two tickets in the past three years. Upon request, qualifying need, and approval, driving requirements may be waived in lieu of reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct assigned staff to ensure timely processing, submission, and distribution of reports, data, and work.
• Foster and maintain an inclusive team with productive cohesion and dynamics.
• Observe, directly supervise, evaluate, and document staff performance, and ensure performance evaluations are completed and reviewed.
• Address staff disciplinary issues in consultation with the Associate Director and Human Resources.
• Coach and mentor staff to improve documentation quality, deadline management, and soft skills as needed.
• Participate in hiring for open positions as needed.
• Lead and collaborate on project management, emphasizing stakeholder communication, resource availability, and community impact.
• Ensure applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines concerning people served, processes, and funding are met.
• Ensure timely and efficient documentation for continuity of funding.
• Ensure workloads and caseloads are covered during absences or vacancies and monitor workloads as appropriate.
• Complete and update required training, participate effectively and appropriately, and ensure staff complete training.
• Respond to complaints and resolve issues toward the best possible outcome.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to support compliance with due process and confidentiality requirements.
• Support team members across varied circumstances and settings, including emergencies and crisis situations.
