About The Position
Stafford Gray is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support a public-sector IT Infrastructure Services organization in Southeast Michigan. The analyst will work across Networking, Server, Workstation Services, Microsoft 365, VoIP/Telecommunications, and Service Center teams, owning project assignments from requirements through implementation. This is a hybrid role requiring at least two onsite days per week in the Waterford/Pontiac area; remote work is conducted during standard business hours from an adequate home office. The engagement is ongoing, with a target start in early November.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
- Hands-on ServiceNow experience, specifically integrations or work in Asset Management, Inventory Management, or CMDB/Discovery; this is a firm requirement.
- Strong experience with the Microsoft 365 productivity suite.
- Data analytics experience.
- Ability to work onsite in the Waterford/Pontiac area at least 2 days per week.
Nice To Haves
- Telecommunications Expense Management (TEM) experience.
- Experience writing RFPs, contracts, or scopes of work.
- Background supporting infrastructure teams, such as network, server, endpoint, or VoIP.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements, analyze data, design solutions, and write technical requirements for infrastructure projects.
- Support ServiceNow integrations, including Asset Management, Inventory Management, CMDB/Discovery, and Webex.
- Test and implement technology solutions and support users through rollout.
- Research current systems and create procedures to improve them.
- Train and support end users.
- Write Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and contract Scopes of Deliverables.
