About The Position

The Business System Analyst - Oracle EBS/ Cloud Finance will join Motorola Solutions’ Enterprise Core Technology group, supporting the global Finance Organization. The team drives transformation, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of core financial systems across Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Cloud. Working at the intersection of business strategy and technology, the analyst partners with Finance business leaders and IT counterparts to adopt industry best practices, simplify financial operations, and implement scalable digital solutions. The role contributes to transformation initiatives and day-to-day operations by translating complex business needs into robust, configurable, future-ready technology solutions. The position combines approximately 80% functional and 20% technical responsibilities across transformation programs and daily operations. It requires collaboration with business users and external implementation partners, analysis and resolution of complex system issues, and prioritization across multiple projects and operational tasks in an Agile environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline; the basic requirements specify a bachelor’s degree.
8+ years of professional experience in business systems analysis and IT consulting.
4+ years of experience leading or directly managing a team.
4+ years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle R12 EBS or Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, with depth in financial processes within Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) modules.
4+ years of strong functional experience in supply chain-heavy financial accounting, including revenue recognition, customer billing, supplier invoicing, and intercompany transactions tied to physical goods, subscriptions, and bundled offers.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into functional specifications and design documentation.
Conduct fit/gap analyses across finance workflows, evaluate customization needs against standard capabilities, and advocate for process standardization.
Partner with internal business users and lead external implementation vendors and partners to deliver user-centric solutions aligned with industry best practices.
Investigate and debug complex system behaviors, explain technical root causes to non-technical stakeholders, and deliver effective resolutions.
Work in an Agile environment while balancing priorities across multiple projects, continuous enhancements, and operational tasks.
Support the transformation, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Cloud financial systems.
