About The Position

SMX is seeking accomplished Senior Business Analysts to collect, document, and analyze business requirements and configure Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions. The role involves gathering requirements, designing and implementing system solutions, providing functional support, performing testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and align the system with business objectives. The Business Analyst works with business stakeholders to translate business needs into functional specifications and Oracle EBS solutions, configures and implements EBS modules, supports solutions through production, and provides ongoing troubleshooting and user assistance. The role also includes analyzing business processes for improvements, coordinating with technical teams, producing system and user documentation, and delivering training. The proposed salary range is $88,000–$146,000 USD. Requirements

Active clearance or public trust based on sponsor.
Commercial treasury and cash management implementation experience.
Deep understanding of accounting, specifically line of accounting (LOA) configuration.
Application enablement skills.
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and its modules, such as Finance and Procurement.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience; directly related postgraduate study may substitute for experience at three credit hours per three months, up to 36 credit hours.
Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 experience.

Federal financials or line of accounting (LOA) understanding.

Responsibilities

Gather and document business requirements for new Oracle EBS features, enhancements, and configurations.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and design solutions using Oracle EBS functionality.
Configure and set up Oracle EBS modules to meet business requirements and support projects through production.
Create test plans, scripts, and cases; perform functional testing and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide ongoing end-user support, troubleshoot issues, analyze problems, and coordinate resolutions with technical teams.
Bridge communication between business units and technical teams to support successful solution integration.
Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using Oracle EBS.
Develop system and user documentation and deliver training to support adoption of new functionality.
