About The Position

SMX is seeking an accomplished Senior Business Analyst to collect, document, and analyze business requirements and configure Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions. The role gathers requirements, designs and implements system solutions, provides functional support, performs testing, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and align Oracle EBS with business objectives. An active clearance or public trust is required, and the role is remote with some travel required. The proposed salary range is $96,400–$150,000 USD. SMX says compensation considers factors including geographic location, federal government contract labor categories, relevant experience, skills, education, and certifications. Requirements

Active clearance or public trust (sponsor dependent).
Experience with iProcurement, Purchasing, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).
Deep understanding of accounting, specifically line of accounting (LOA) configuration.
Application enablement skills.
Familiarity with Oracle 12.2.x application schema and ability to create queries.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field. Directly related postgraduate study may be substituted for experience at a rate of three credit hours for three months of experience, up to 36 credit hours.
Minimum of 10 years of experience.
Experience creating and maintaining training documentation.
Experience with MyOracleSupport and resolving Service Requests (SRs).

Nice To Haves

Oracle certifications, such as OCP for EBS R12.
Federal financials or LOA understanding.
Oracle Cloud development and Oracle APEX experience.
Project costing experience.
Oracle EBS core financial accounting knowledge.
BS in accounting or CPA.

Responsibilities

Gather and document business requirements for Oracle EBS features, enhancements, and configurations.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and design solutions using Oracle EBS functionality.
Configure and set up Oracle EBS modules to meet business requirements and support projects through production.
Create test plans, scripts, and cases; perform functional testing and assist with user acceptance testing.
Provide ongoing end-user support, troubleshoot issues, analyze problems, and coordinate resolutions with technical teams.
Bridge communication between business units and technical teams to support successful solution integration.
Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using Oracle EBS.
Develop system and user documentation and deliver training to support adoption of new functionality.
