About The Position

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree and 3 years of experience in Electronic, Mechanical, IT, or Healthcare industry OR High School Diploma and 5 years of experience in Electronic, Mechanical, IT, or Healthcare industry
• Valid state driver's license
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
• Human Anatomy and Physiology education within 1 year of hire
• Medical Terminology education within 1 year of hire
• Advanced Biomedical Equipment Service “vendor” training (Patient monitoring, electrosurgical, infusion)

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Military training in technical field
• Medical device experience
• Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) or Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES) certification through The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI)

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled maintenance and repairs of a wide variety of medical devices ranging from basic medical technology to sophisticated systems.
• Provides incoming equipment inspections, installation, recall & alert activities and calibration & repair of medical devices.
