About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of food and beverage management experience; hotel experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and direct a team.
• Strong time management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to interpret financial data, create operational plans, and understand how beverage costs affect financial statements.
• Working knowledge of wine, liquor, inventory methods, purchasing, and financial statements.
• Fluency in English and effective communication skills with the public and team members.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Meet the minimum age requirement of the jurisdiction.

• Food and beverage management experience in hotels.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality guest service in meetings, private parties, lounges, and restaurants.
• Manage the department within budget by forecasting revenue and expenses and analyzing financial information to make strategic adjustments.
• Lead and mentor the team, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Keep current with industry trends, maintain strong vendor relationships, and promote continuous improvement.
• Assist with preparing food and beverage budgets, identify revenue opportunities, and collaborate on vendor selection to support quality service.
