About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program setting.
• Able to pass required background and fingerprint clearances.
• Calm, flexible, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Some college or early childhood coursework preferred.
• Some experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
• Familiarity with before- and after-school program environments a plus.
• Knowledge of state childcare licensing or school-age care regulations helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure program quality by keeping kids engaged, safe, and having fun.
• Maintain program compliance with Healthy Kids Programs’ model and state regulations.
• Ensure the site is fully staffed with prepared and supported teachers.
• Operate the site in ratio at all times with accurate and current records.
• Manage site inventory, ensuring it is well-stocked with necessary supplies and materials.
• Restock supplies before they run out.
