About The Position

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in automotive aftermarket internal or counter sales is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience in the role.

• Automotive aftermarket parts knowledge.

• Proven track record of meeting counter sales targets.
• Proficiency with POS order punch-out platforms.
• Bilingual ability is sought for the opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an installer book of business that meets or exceeds year-over-year sales targets.
• Meet sales quota expectations set by the Regional Sales Director.
• Negotiate prices and terms, and close deals with customers.
• Maintain and use CRM sales data to identify category opportunities and grow the customer base.
• Make outbound and cold calls to prospective customers to generate sales.
• Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders for NMG products and services, interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing current and new customer accounts.
• Answer inbound calls and help customers complete parts orders.
• Build strong connections with new and existing clients to understand their needs and foster loyalty.
• Use aftermarket parts cataloging and product knowledge to assist customers and troubleshoot as needed.
• Remind customers about communicated corporate promotions.
• Use outside vendor opportunities to locate parts that are unavailable internally.
• Advise branch managers on service-related issues.
• Recommend Transend Online Cataloging to customers who prefer online ordering.
• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to meet customer service expectations and coordinate with Outside Sales Representatives to support sales growth.
