About The Position
IntegraCare is seeking a professional and dedicated Registered Nurse to lead the Resident Care/Wellness Department at Candle Light Cove, a senior living community. The position is responsible for the overall operation of the Wellness Department in accordance with state and local regulations and IntegraCare policies and procedures, and for ensuring residents’ care needs are met according to physician orders and company standards. The Director participates in resident admission, care-level adjustment, and discharge decisions; oversees hiring, mentoring, assignments, and work progress for Wellness team members; and serves as the Delegating Nurse to support regulatory compliance and resident care. The role also fosters a cohesive, collaborative work environment through mentorship and team-member development. IntegraCare describes its approach as focusing on team members, residents, and families, with an emphasis on dignity and respect. The stated salary range is $115,000–$118,000.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing as a Registered Nurse.
- Five or more years of experience in the long-term care industry, including supervisory experience.
- Current Maryland RN license in good standing.
- Current driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct the overall operation of the Wellness Department in accordance with state and local regulations and IntegraCare policies and procedures.
- Ensure residents’ care needs are met and maintained according to physician orders and IntegraCare standards.
- Participate in interviewing and selecting residents for admission, adjusting care delivery or level, and discharging residents.
- Hire Wellness team members, assign mentors, and monitor the work progress of new and existing Wellness employees.
- Serve as the Delegating Nurse to ensure regulatory compliance and that resident needs are being met.
- Foster a cohesive and collaborative work environment through mentorship and team-member development.
