Requirements

• A track record of achievement and a determined drive to succeed through challenges.
• A strong network and a track record of closing high-profile deals.
• Existing relationships with agents, managers, or publicists, or the ability to build them quickly with senior people.
• Deep knowledge of the technology landscape, including AI, semiconductors, venture capital, founders, operators, and emerging talent.
• Exceptional discretion and sound judgement when working with sensitive, high-profile, and politically charged figures.
• Strong organisation skills, including the ability to manage multiple pipelines, maintain clean data, and follow up consistently.
• Persuasive, polished written and spoken communication, and confidence in pursuing world-class talent.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a pipeline of high-profile talent from first outreach through confirmation, including negotiating terms and securing participation.
• Identify and develop relationships with A-list speakers, gatekeepers, talent representatives, and decision-makers.
• Oversee the team's A-list talent pipeline, drive accountability, and report on performance, conversion rates, and forecasts.
• Identify and prioritise high-value talent opportunities using market intelligence, industry trends, and event objectives.
• Collaborate with Web Summit leadership, internal teams, and external partners to align talent acquisition priorities and maximise opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally to deliver a seamless experience for confirmed high-profile talent, including logistics, preparation, and on-site delivery.
