About The Position

Requirements

• 15 or more years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including significant experience in Field Engineering, Applications Engineering, Customer Engineering, or a related technical customer-facing role.
• Proven experience leading and scaling global technical organizations through multiple management layers and across geographies.
• Strong hands-on technical foundation in semiconductor design and physical design flows, including synthesis, place and route, static timing analysis, and SoC/ASIC, sufficient to engage credibly with customer design teams.
• Experience with semiconductor IP and/or EDA solutions and their integration into customer design environments.
• Proven track record managing strategic, executive-level relationships with leading semiconductor companies.
• Technical depth, customer orientation, business acumen, and executive presence to act as a trusted strategic partner to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Sales, R&D, Product Management, Program Management, and senior customer stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing worldwide Field Engineering organization, managing regional and functional Application Engineering leaders across multiple territories.
• Support customer silicon design, verification, and implementation activities.
• Own the end-to-end technical customer journey across global accounts, from initial engagement and evaluation through IP integration, deployment, and ongoing adoption.
• Oversee integration of proteanTecs IP and related EDA tools into customer silicon design flows, including RTL, synthesis, place and route, and static timing analysis.
• Build trusted relationships with senior technical and executive stakeholders at strategic customers.
• Partner with Sales and Business Development on strategic accounts, technical sales cycles, design wins, and business expansion opportunities.
• Lead customer engagements, technical evaluations, proofs of concept, and enablement activities to position solutions and drive business growth.
• Lead technical review meetings with customers to understand their challenges, requirements, and opportunities for innovation.
• Partner with senior leaders across R&D, Product Management, and Program Management to translate customer feedback and market needs into features, products, and solutions.
