The Vice President Enterprise Innovation & Strategy is Miami-based, reports to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), and serves as a transformative enterprise innovation leader who converts vision into measurable value for children, families, clinicians, and the broader pediatric health ecosystem. As a member of the ELT and the CSO's principal operating partner, this executive translates board-approved innovation and strategy priorities into operational plans, investments, venture opportunities, and scalable outcomes across service lines and corporate functions. Grounded in NCHS's pediatric mission and not-for-profit commitment, the VP advances enterprise innovation that improves outcomes, access, experience, and efficiency while strengthening community benefit and organizational sustainability. The role serves as Managing Director of Children's Health Ventures (CHV), with accountability for building and scaling an innovation and venture platform focused on venture creation, startup engagement, intellectual property strategy, AI-enabled innovation, commercialization pathways, strategic partnerships, and innovation ecosystem development. The VP brings deep business acumen and a strong grasp of the healthcare legal and regulatory environment, with fluency in considerations that shape strategy, partnerships, contracting, venture development, and commercialization. Operating in a matrix across strategy, operations, data and analytics, commercialization, venture creation, and clinical innovation, the VP accelerates growth, performance, and impact for children and families. This executive will lead a systemwide innovation engine that identifies emerging technologies, tests and scales new care and business models, cultivates internal and external innovation pipelines, and expands NCHS's influence across the pediatric health ecosystem.
