About The Position
Belle City Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced, collaborative Medical Director Veterinarian to lead its AAHA-accredited small animal practice in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. The role combines clinical work with leadership, mentorship, and practice development. The Medical Director will partner with hospital leadership to foster a collaborative culture, uphold medical excellence, support team development, expand services, and help shape the future of the practice while maintaining an active clinical caseload. Belle City Veterinary Hospital is a full-service companion animal hospital providing medical, surgical, and dental care. The team values collaboration, client education, and ongoing professional development, and uses modern technology. Interest in surgery is encouraged, with resources and support available to advance surgical skills. The position offers a base salary of up to $150,000, varying by qualifications and experience, plus a quarterly production bonus with no negative accrual and a Medical Director leadership stipend. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an accredited veterinary school.
- Active or eligible Wisconsin veterinary license.
- Strong surgical and medical skills, with an interest in continuing to grow surgical services.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Collaborative leadership style and a growth mindset.
- Passion for progressive, evidence-based medicine and team development.
