About The Position
Greater Cincinnati Veterinary Specialists and Urgent Care is seeking emergency veterinarians for its growing specialty practice in the Greater Cincinnati area. The hospital provides advanced clinical care and specialty testing, supported by equipment and services including ultrasound, CT imaging, video otoscopy, endoscopy, and colonoscopy. The role offers medical autonomy, mentorship alongside skilled specialists, and an opportunity to work with a caring, dedicated staff in a small family atmosphere. New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply; high-quality mentorship is available. Part-time and full-time overnight positions are available, with flexible rotating shifts. The practice plans to expand its emergency service hours to meet growing demand. The hospital is located in Wilder, Kentucky, near Cincinnati.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
- Current DEA license, or ability to obtain one upon hire.
- Active veterinary state license.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with staff and clients.
- Empathy and a passion for excellent veterinary medicine and patient care.
