About The Position
Touhy Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, collaborative Associate Veterinarian to join its established small animal practice in Park Ridge, Illinois. The Fear Free-focused hospital offers preventive care, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, laser therapy, and wellness care. The team has more than 60 years of combined veterinary experience and includes experienced technicians and remote support for client communication and daily operations. Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree.
- Illinois veterinary license, or ability to obtain one.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide small animal medical care, including preventive and wellness care.
- Perform or support soft tissue surgery and veterinary dentistry.
- Provide Fear Free patient care and laser therapy.
- Communicate with and educate clients.
- Use clinical decision-making to guide patient care.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team and build relationships with clients and colleagues.
