About The Position
Kersting Veterinary Hospital is seeking a passionate, experienced Associate Veterinarian with a strong interest in exotic veterinary medicine; avian experience is strongly preferred. The hospital is a fast-paced, multi-doctor practice serving small animals, avian patients, and exotic companions in Chesterfield, Missouri. Its services include preventive medicine, surgery, in-house diagnostics, digital full-body and dental radiology, exotic and avian medicine, and boarding. Veterinarians are supported in practicing progressive medicine in a collaborative environment, with medical autonomy, mentorship, technology, and team support. The role offers future ownership opportunities and is based in Chesterfield, with access to the St. Louis area.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Active veterinary state license, or ability to obtain one upon hire.
- Current DEA license, or ability to obtain one upon hire.
- USDA accreditation, or ability to obtain it upon hire.
- Experience as a veterinarian; the posting describes the role as seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian.
- Proficiency in general medicine and surgery.
- Compassionate, relationship-driven, collaborative approach and strong communication skills.
