About The Position

Carter County Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled, motivated Associate Veterinarian to provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for companion animals. The veterinarian will work collaboratively with experienced veterinarians and support staff, using the hospital’s modern equipment and full suite of services. The role offers opportunities to develop professional interests in general practice, surgery, dentistry, or rehabilitation, and to grow within a welcoming, supportive team and community-focused practice.

Requirements

DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited institution.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Oklahoma.
Strong communication skills and a client-service focus.
Comfortable performing surgery and dentistry, or interested in building those skills.
Interest in mentoring and supporting a team and helping drive practice growth.
Empathetic, team-oriented attitude and desire to work in a community-focused practice.

Responsibilities

Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
Perform surgery and dental procedures.
Mentor and work with support staff and newer team members.
Provide compassionate client education and communication.
Collaborate on hospital initiatives to support growth, quality of care, and client satisfaction.

Benefits

Starting salary of $120,000.
Signing bonus starting at $20,000.
