About The Position

Requirements

• Registered Nurse licensure (LIC-Registered Nurse).
• Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.
• Experience level: less than 1 year.
• Ability to assess and evaluate patients, gather pertinent clinical data, recognize problems, and communicate with the primary care provider and healthcare team.
• Fundamental proficiency in patient education, care planning, and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in establishing the plan of care, coordinate and implement care delivery, and anticipate patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyze comprehensive information relevant to patient care and management to determine nursing diagnoses.
• Use the nursing process to evaluate patient progress toward goals and apply appropriate interventions to support effective outcomes.
• Employ strategies to promote health and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Provide patient and family education and support continuum-of-care planning.
• Communicate pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.
• Conduct primary care patient interviews and physical examinations; recognize problems and contact the primary care provider or other healthcare team members as appropriate.
• Search for evidence to answer clinical questions and apply learning to assigned work.
• Engage in learning activities to further professional growth according to Board of Nursing standards.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
