About The Position

Requirements

• Must possess a current, unencunmbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state or compact state.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Supervisor in long-term care or healthcare related facilities.

Nice To Haves

• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, charting, etc. as necessary.
• Review all staffing for the assigned shift and assure each resident has an assigned nurse/CNA.
• Review shift PPD and make staffing adjustments as required.
• Make rounds throughout the facility at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Replace any call offs that are received during the shift.
• Communicate all events/incidents and resident concerns to DON/ADON.
• Assist in developing and implementing corrective action when appropriate.
