About The Position

Qnity Electronics is seeking an experienced Area Shipping Supervisor to lead daily shipping, receiving, packaging, and warehouse operations at our Tralee Park Annex facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of materials and finished goods while driving operational excellence across shipping and logistics processes. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with experience managing warehouse teams, balancing daily priorities, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position plays a critical role in supporting customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, and operational performance. This is a 100% onsite position located in our Newark, Delaware facility. Sponsorship is not available for this opportunity now or in the future.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution operations.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience managing employees in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Experience working with SAP, WMS, or similar inventory and shipping management systems.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse safety, quality, inventory control, and operational standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to support on-call operational needs as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a closely related field.
  • Experience in the semiconductor, advanced materials, specialty chemicals, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Experience leading warehouse, shipping, receiving, and logistics operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Forklift or material handling equipment certification.
  • Experience supporting capital projects, warehouse optimization initiatives, or implementation of new logistics technologies.
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvements that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and customer service performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily shipping, receiving, picking, packaging, and outbound distribution activities to ensure accurate, on-time customer deliveries.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and workflow priorities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and service goals.
  • Manage shipping and inventory transactions within SAP and warehouse management systems.
  • Monitor operational performance metrics, staffing levels, WIP, and shipment volumes to drive efficient execution.
  • Coach, develop, and support shipping associates while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements through floor presence, audits, and standard work practices.
  • Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, 5S, and Kaizen activities.
  • Participate in operational reviews and provide reporting on safety, productivity, staffing, and shipment performance.
  • Support capital projects, process improvements, equipment upgrades, and implementation of new operational technologies.
