About The Position
Navigator Recruiting client is a fast-growing company, having grown by 37% over the last three years and plans to continue growing. The firm is seeking to hire a Staff Accountant, to join the Accounting & Finance team in DTC and help the growing finance operations. The Staff Accountant will report to the Controller and work on an Accounting & Finance team of 5 people - all in the DTC office. This is a full-time, in-office position based in our Denver Tech Center (DTC) office.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 1-3 years of accounting experience required
- Understanding of GAAP
- Highly analytical, organized, and collaborative, with strong communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree and/or CPA is preferred but not required.
- Experience using QuickBooks, NetSuite, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Bill.com & ADP is helpful but not required.
- The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized and motivated.
- Some excited to work from work and to be a part of a collaborative and high energy business.
Responsibilities
- Review/manage the day-to-day outsourced accounting activities for the firm including A/R, A/P, Bank, Credit Card, and other account reconciliations.
- Perform journal entries as needed.
- Assist in performing financial planning and analysis on a monthly basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
