The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for customers, responsible for delivering an exceptional service experience from check-in to vehicle delivery. This role combines customer service, communication and sales skills to ensure accurate recommendations, efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction while consistently demonstrating our core values.

Requirements

  • Customer Service Excellence: Deliver a welcoming, responsive, and respectful experience that builds long-term relationships
  • Communication & Education: Clearly explain vehicle needs, services, and options so customers can make educated decisions. Providing customers with periodic status updates keeping them informed.
  • Honesty & Integrity: Provide accurate recommendations and transparent pricing; do what is right for the customer
  • Trust Building: Follow through on commitments, communicate consistently, and deliver reliable service
  • Problem Solving: Work collaboratively with technicians and team members to resolve issues efficiently
  • Sales & Consultative Skills: Identify customer needs and recommend services that ensure safety, reliability, and value
  • Teamwork & Community: Contribute to a positive team environment and support shared success across the shop
  • Adaptability & Initiative: Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while seeking continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, schedule appointments, and build lasting relationships
  • Gather vehicle history, customer concerns, and relevant information
  • Educate customers on maintenance needs and repair recommendations
  • Communicate effectively with technicians to support accurate diagnosis
  • Prepare and present clear, itemized estimates for parts and labor
  • Explain services with transparency to build trust and obtain authorization
  • Provide periodic updates on vehicle status and estimated completion times, especially if there is a delay in parts delivery or completion times.
  • Coordinate transportation services (shuttle/towing) as needed
  • Maintain accurate customer and vehicle service records
  • Process payments and complete opening/closing procedures
  • Maintain a clean, professional workspace and customer area
