About The Position
Enforces security related policies and procedures to provide a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, patients and physical properties. Performs other duties as assigned to assist in achieving overall division and hospital goals.
Requirements
- NYS certification as a Security Guard required.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- BLS/CPR certification and first aid training required.
- Ability to diffuse and handle violent physical situations calmly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of two years security experience highly desirable.
- College level course work in criminal justice a definite plus, but not required.
