About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to safeguard clients at a transportation and logistics location in Mobile, Alabama. In this access control role, the officer monitors entry points, verifies credentials, manages visitor access, and conducts routine patrols. A visible presence and professional communication help deter incidents and provide service to the client. The role involves following site-specific security procedures and responding to incidents as needed.

The posted pay rate is $16.50 per hour. The schedule is Thursday and Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional shifts may be available through the company’s Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license only if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and manage visitor access.
