About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Guard to safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents and emergencies, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license and an active TWIC card. Pay is $15.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Have an active TWIC card.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
