About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Guard for an industrial plant/refinery work site in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. The role requires an active, in-hand TWIC card and includes a rotating schedule covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts run from 5:45 AM to 5:45 PM or 5:45 PM to 5:45 AM. The position is full-time, pays weekly, and offers starting pay of $15.00 to $18.00 per hour based on experience.

The Security Guard helps safeguard clients by following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents, and conducting regular and random patrols. The work may involve standing and walking for extended periods and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Applicants must have a valid Louisiana driver's license held for at least one year with a clean driving record, and at least two to three years of verifiable security experience. Applicants without an active TWIC card, a valid driver's license, or the required experience will not be considered.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. The first interview will be conducted by phone.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.

• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
