About The Position

The Unarmed Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents, protects client property and personnel, preserves order, and enforces site regulations and directives. The role may also involve providing customer service and information to client employees and customers. An active TWIC card is required, and overnight availability is needed. Security experience is preferred but not required; training is provided for candidates new to the security industry. The position pays $17.50–$18.00 per hour and offers weekly pay and opportunities for growth within the company.

Requirements

Must have an active TWIC card in hand.
Must be available to work overnight.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers/guards.
Must be able to frequently sit, stand, and walk for extended periods; duties may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Security experience is preferred but not required.
Experience in retail, food service, or hospitality is considered a good fit.
