About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer to support a logistics and distribution location in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, at a rate of $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment, where required.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and observe vehicle, visitor, and employee activity to help deter unauthorized entry and report unusual conditions.
Accurately document patrol activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
