TWIC - Unarmed Security Officer
About The Position
The Unarmed Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents, preserves order, and enforces client-site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. An active TWIC card is required, and overnight availability is required. Security experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.
Requirements
- Must have an active TWIC card in hand.
- Must be available overnight.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
- Able to sit, stand, and walk frequently for long periods; may need to climb stairs and walk on inclines or uneven terrain.
- May need to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

- Security experience is preferred but not required.
