About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Guard for an industrial plant/refinery work site in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. An active TWIC card is required. The position follows a rotating schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with shifts from 5:45 AM to 5:45 PM or 5:45 PM to 5:45 AM. Starting pay is $15.00–$16.50 per hour, based on experience, and employees are paid weekly.

The Security Guard safeguards clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, responding to emergencies and critical situations, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. The role requires extended periods of standing and walking and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Applicants must have an active TWIC card, a valid Louisiana driver's license held for at least one year with a clean driving record, and at least two years of verifiable security experience. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for this unarmed position and have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law. The first interview is conducted by phone. Applicants lacking the required TWIC card, driver's license, or security experience will not be considered.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
