About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer TWIC Driver to support a chemical/petrochemical location in Channahon, Illinois. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service and communication. A TSA-issued TWIC is required. The posted pay rate is $21.65 per hour. The schedule includes overnight shifts Monday and Tuesday, 9:30 PM–6:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 5:30 AM–6:00 PM.

Requirements

Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible security presence to help deter incidents.
Respond to security-related concerns and communicate effectively.
