About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard for a refinery training site in Robert, Louisiana, near Hammond. The position pays $17.10 per hour, with weekly pay, and uses 12-hour shifts. Applicants must have an active TWIC card, pass DISA testing (hair follicle, oral, and breath alcohol), pass a background screening, and hold a clean Louisiana driver’s license. CPR certification is a plus. The first interview will be by phone.

The Security Guard serves and safeguards clients by following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, providing customer service, and responding to emergencies and other critical situations. Duties include regular and random patrols of the business and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles, and must have a high school diploma or equivalent or five years of verifiable experience. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements depend on applicable state and local laws; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
