About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring full-time unarmed Security Officers for a TWIC refinery/petrochemical plant site in Sweeny, Texas. The position pays $16.99 per hour, with weekly pay, and involves 12-hour shifts. Officers safeguard clients by providing customer service, following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies and other critical situations, and conducting regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. This role requires comfort using computers or tablets for gate access, experience with badging and access control, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in varying elements.

Requirements

• At least one year of security experience.
• Clean driver's license with no flags or suspensions.
• Comfort using computers or tablets for gate access.
• Experience in badging and access control.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in the elements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions; licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
