Security Officer Unarmed TWIC
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer TWIC Route Driver for a dynamic terminal location in Mobile, Alabama. The officer will help safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. The listed schedule is Monday and Sunday, 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Pay is $16.50 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
Requirements
- Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
- Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
- Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
